Some discussions may be directly related to the Dental Office I’ve worked in for many years, as a Licensed Registered Dental Assistant.
My duties as a Registered Dental Assistant require me to multi-task in many areas of our dental office. My responsibilities include:
- Chair-side Assisting for treatments on patients
- X-ray and Lab Technician: Taking, processing and mounting x-rays, as well as needing dental work in the Lab.
- Sterilization of dental instruments according to OSHA/Hipaa Standards
- Everything involved with running the Front Desk- Phone calls, Patient Recall, Doctor Correspondences, Filing Insurance Claims, Appointment Scheduling, Discussing Treatment Options with patients, and so much more.
